News correspondent Jake Barnes relocates to Paris after WWII, and links up
with several other lost souls, such as Lady Brett Ashley and drunkard Mike
Campbell. In their search for new thrills, they go to Spain and participate
in the annual Pamplona bull run, acting as unofficial sponsors of a young
matador. But emotional tension rises as each of the men pursue the same
woman.
