Originally released in 1958, this was Little Richards second LP for Specialty. Here the Georgia Peach was at the very pinnacle of his career, having unbelievably scored 14 Top Ten hits on the RnB charts in less than 3 years, including "Good Golly, Miss Molly" and "Keep A Knockin", which both "crossed over" into the Billboard Top 10 as well.
Interestingly, classics like "Baby Face" and "By The Light Of The Silvery Moon" are also given the Little Richard treatment here, perhaps in a bizarre attempt to win a more mature audience.
