Mark Of The Devil (HEXEN BIS AUFS BLUT GEQUÄLT) was released in 1970 and is certainly a film that has achieved cult status. A sequel was produced in 1973, and both soundtracks are featured on this release.
The first musical score from German musician, producer and composer Michael Horn is surprisingly melodic for a horror movie, but also contains dramatic and atmospheric compositions.
The second soundtrack, for 'Mark Of The Devil II', was the work of Don Banks, John Scott and Sam Sklair. John Scott also is a legendary sixties producer who recorded several artists like Tom Jones, The Hollies, The Beatles, etc.
This LP version is limited to 1.000 copies, packaged in a deluxe tip-on gatefold jacket.
