ME 110-D
A small Punk scene already existed in the Zurich uplands in the 1970s. With THE SICK and HEXAN 5 there were even two bands in the region of Uster, the 3rd largest city in canton Zurich. André Thommen who until his death played a central role in this scene had founded the band ME-110-D in 1982. With him where Jenni on Bass, Häse on Drums and Alex
on the Vocals.
The youth centre in Uster where they were rehearsing had become a popular meeting place for the Punk scene of region throughout the 1980s.
Andreas Schmid aka Scheli who played bass in the final lineup of ME-110-D had captured this on various photos and even documented in a book (Edition 2 Ex). After their split the punk band PAX HELVETIA was founded out of the final line-up of ME-110-D.
